Loyumo Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 October 2026. The app is called ZhuaZhuaShu (爪爪书) in mainland China and Loyumo elsewhere. It is the same service, operated by Xi’an Heikuan Technology Co., Ltd. Please read these terms and our Privacy Policy before using the app. Do not use the service if you do not accept them.

1. The service

Loyumo records dog walks, routes, distance and duration; displays explored areas; provides activity guidance and goals; and supports feed updates, follows, achievements, rankings and route ratings with preset tags. Comments and likes were discontinued on 26 April 2026. Features vary by platform. Activity guidance and health information are for reference and do not replace a veterinarian’s advice.

2. Accounts

Provide accurate account and birth-date information. New registrations and incomplete accounts in the United States and United Kingdom require an account holder aged 18 or older. The minimum registration age remains 12 in other regions. Registration country is separate from interface language; users under 18 must provide a registration country. This in-app rule uses a supplied registration or account country and a self-reported date of birth; it does not independently verify age, identity or geographic location. An account’s recorded minimum age cannot be lowered by changing its country or language. Existing completed mainland China accounts retain their original eligibility and are not reclassified merely because the device travels abroad. Existing records and guardian permissions are not deleted by this rule. Eligible new registrations and incomplete accounts aged 12–13 outside the United States and United Kingdom require a parent or guardian to respond to an explanatory email and a separate confirmation email before registration. This confirms access to the email address; it does not independently establish identity or a guardian relationship. These accounts use private features and cannot publish or publicly share their records. Under-18 protections restrict certain social, personalization and live-location features. Existing completed accounts are not automatically invalidated solely because they used an earlier confirmation process.

A parent can withdraw required permission using the management link or contact privacy@zhuazhuashu.com to request review or deletion. Withdrawal before age 14 stops further use of collecting features; account deletion is a separate request. From age 14, the earlier permission no longer controls access to the independently eligible account. Existing records do not automatically become public at age 14 or 18.

Keep your account and password secure. Do not impersonate others or use multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or achievements. We may restrict accounts that violate these requirements. Existing email, Apple and WeChat account paths remain subject to their platform requirements.

You can request account deletion in settings. After a 30-day waiting period, we process deletion of your account and associated records; pending requests can be cancelled before processing begins. Some shared dog and walk records, and records of deletion requests, reports, enforcement and security audits, may remain, including identifiers or content associated with you. See the Privacy Policy for retention details and current limitations. Completed account deletion cannot be undone.

When a stored Apple authorization token is available, account deletion includes automatic revocation of Sign in with Apple access. Some older accounts do not have a stored token; this does not prevent account deletion. In that case, you can also stop using Sign in with Apple for this app in your Apple Account settings. On iPhone, open Settings > your name > Sign in with Apple, select this app or developer, tap Delete and follow the confirmation steps. See Apple’s instructions. Stopping Apple access alone does not delete your Loyumo account.

3. Conduct and moderation

Do not upload unlawful or infringing content, animal-abuse content, threats or harassment; impersonate others; falsify walk tracks or manipulate scores; collect others’ personal information without authorization; or use the service for unauthorized commercial activity. Do not reverse-engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law permits it.

We may screen, restrict or remove content and accounts that violate these terms or applicable requirements. Reporting and blocking tools are available. We aim for initial report review within 24 hours and prompt intervention for serious safety or child-protection concerns. These are targets and may be affected by staffing, holidays or major incidents. Report records may be kept for at least six months. The app is not an emergency-response service.

4. Your content

You retain rights to the walks, photos, notes, dog profiles and ratings you create. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to display, distribute and use it within this app to provide the service. You must have the necessary rights to share it and must respect other people’s rights. Visibility and location controls affect what other users can see.

Private records are used to provide the requested private features and are not made public or used for public promotion under this licence. In particular, records from accounts aged 12–13 are not public promotional content.

5. Location and information

Walk tracking uses location while a walk is active and stops when the walk ends. Public locations are generalized rather than exposing private home coordinates. Optional live-walk links disclose walk location to people with the link when you choose to share one. Location accuracy depends on your device, permissions, network and signals. See the Privacy Policy for collection, providers, storage, cross-border processing and your choices. We do not sell location data.

6. Intellectual property

The app’s code, design, algorithms, branding and documentation belong to the developer or their respective rights holders. Do not copy, modify or distribute them without authorization except where applicable law permits it. Breed information and activity references may cite public kennel-organization materials or published research in the app.

7. Availability and guidance

Your use of real-time weather guidance is at your sole risk. Weather data may not be accurate. Weather information does not replace official warnings or your judgement about safe walking.

The service is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free records, perfect location accuracy or that guidance is suitable for every dog. Seek veterinary advice about your dog’s health. Take responsibility for safe walking and supervision. Cloud, map and authentication services depend on third-party availability. Community information does not replace your judgement about a route or another user.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer does not accept liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes obligations or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

9. Changes

Updated terms will be published here. We will notify users of material changes in the app. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and request account deletion.

10. Governing law and disputes

The existing service terms designate the laws of mainland China and the competent courts in Beilin District, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, following an attempt to resolve disputes through discussion. This English notice does not assert that mandatory consumer protections in another jurisdiction can be waived.

11. Other provisions

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These terms and the Privacy Policy describe the agreement for use of the service. A delay in exercising a right does not waive that right.
